Customized FPC Cable Assembly Manufacturer | Flexible Printed Circuit Cable OEM Solution by Goochain
A custom USB Type-C to Pogo Pin FPC/FFC cable assembly for compact device integration, charging and high-speed data up to 10Gbps under the approved configuration. Shape, contact layout, bend zone and connector position are customizable.
The Goochain USB Type-C to Pogo Pin FPC cable assembly is developed for products that need charging and high-speed communication in a thin, compact or irregular internal structure. Instead of routing a conventional round cable through the device, the flexible printed circuit can be shaped around the mechanical stack-up and connected to a spring-loaded Pogo Pin interface.
Under the approved system configuration, the FPC assembly can be developed and tested for USB 5Gbps or USB 10Gbps requirements. Final performance depends on the FPC construction, length, layer stack, differential routing, grounding, connector transition, Pogo Pin arrangement and device-side PCB.
This product is part of Goochain's high-speed Pogo Pin connector solutions and is customized for each OEM or ODM project.

FPC is useful when the connection must pass through a narrow gap, follow a defined fold or bend path, remain close to the housing, or connect components at different positions inside a compact device. It can also reduce the volume required for internal routing and give the mechanical team more control over the installation path.
FPC is not automatically the best choice for every product. A round cable may be more appropriate for external movement, long routing distances, repeated free flexing or applications that need a conventional strain-relief structure. Use our round cable versus FPC selection guide to compare the two options.

At USB 10Gbps, the FPC is part of the complete high-speed channel. The design must consider differential pair geometry, reference planes, connector transitions, ground contacts, pair matching, discontinuities and crosstalk. The transition from USB Type-C to FPC and from FPC to the Pogo Pin interface must be reviewed together with the device-side PCB.
Goochain can work from the customer's mechanical and electrical inputs to prepare a design for prototype validation. Any major change to the FPC length, bend, stack-up, contact layout or device PCB may require a new review and test. Read our signal integrity design considerations for a practical overview.
If a conventional external cable is preferred, review Goochain's USB-C magnetic Pogo Pin cable as the round-cable alternative.
Provide the device 2D/3D drawing, available routing envelope, mating direction, FPC installation path, connector position, USB data requirement, power requirement, pinout and expected quantity. If available, include the device-side PCB layout or contact-pad definition for joint engineering review.
Use our guide to prepare a custom Pogo Pin cable RFQ before requesting a proposal.
Goochain supports FPC sourcing and assembly, connector integration, molding, Pogo Pin assembly, electrical testing and final inspection. Manufacturing is managed under Goochain's ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 quality management systems. Project-specific test and documentation requirements are confirmed during development.

Send your mechanical drawing, pinout and system requirements. Goochain will review whether an FPC or round cable structure is more suitable and prepare the corresponding development proposal.
Keep required fields minimal. Attach drawings/photos for accurate quoting.
Tip: A simple installation photo often saves 2–3 rounds of questions.
Quotation 1–2 days; development 15–20 days; mass production 20–25 days (project dependent).
Yes. Reference sample + requirements helps confirm drawings and test plan.
Depends on materials and complexity. We support prototypes and scalable mass production.
