Start with the space inside the device

A USB-C connection that fits one enclosure may leave no room for the cable in another. Our FPC ribbon cable samples include straight, right-angle, and U-shaped configurations, so visitors can compare connector orientation, routing, and how the end of the cable is held in place. For a slim device or a port close to the housing, the physical sample makes that conversation easier.

Magnetic contacts and charging products

We will also bring magnetic pogo pin connectors and cable assemblies. It helps to review the number and arrangement of contacts alongside the magnet orientation and locating features of the housing; they all determine how the connection sits in the finished device. Multiport chargers and related connection samples will be on display as well, giving visitors a look at options from the power source to the device end.

Bring the design question to Booth 11S02

Perhaps the cable has to turn immediately behind the port, the connector projects too far from the enclosure, or a magnetic interface needs a better way to locate itself. A photo of the device, a mechanical drawing, or a current sample is enough to start a useful discussion. We can look at connector direction, pin assignment, cable length, housing fit, prototype checks, and production plans with you.
